hi bruce. just a quick line to say hello. usually catch a little of your program on my way to work at esso resources in cold lake on most mornings. always entertaining and upbeat. nice way to start the day. seems just like yesterday when I would see you in the morning at CISN. time sure flies. Keep smiling.
Bruce…..love the show, listen faithfully, but this morning I had one minor point I wanted to raise. When you were speaking of Cecil Kinross this morning, you referred to him as having “won” the VC. It’s not really an award for a contest or a game (as I am sure you would agree).
It is more proper to either say that he was “awarded” the medal, or that he was a “recipient” of the medal. It does make a difference to those listeners with any military background.
Hey Bruce, Just want to drop a note to each of the show hosts that I enjoy whenever possible, and also for the tickets to Jubilations on December 2! You definitely get my mornings started in a positive way, and I can’t imagine being on any other station to start the day. (actually, our history goes WAY back to the 70’s when CHED gave us the best rock and Super Chicken until signals switched for the night and we were forced to tune in to the signal phenomenon called CFUN lol). Thanks again for the tickets and more especially for your company in the morning.
Listen to your show every morning…yesterday you announced the Mighty Millions Calendar Winner….are you planning on announcing it at the same time everyday…or at random times??
Hi Bruce, Could you please tell me the name of the company you were talking about with Bill Smith this Monday morning? Thanks Mike.
Very good idea to scrap the pool at this time. By the way what is the Premier doing for the unemployed and there benefits.
I am wondering what opinions are out there about distracted walking? I have observed all too many looking down on their devices , disregarding “looking bot ways” like we were taught as children. Is it time now to have a law about it? Perhaps, because you or me driving hits someone that crosses and intersection without looking, is the greater problem! It is all to often that the driver is charged, and not the distracted person.
Bruce —just for ur info and your listeners —The Snowbirds formation flypast in conjunction with the” No stone left alone ” will be Nov. 7 11:00 am –11:07 am from West to East over the Beechmont Cemetary ! regards Arnie
I received a quote for solar shingles. For 900 square feet, the cost is $26000 plus shipping and handling from Ontario. Return on investment…. forever. http://www.pvtech.ca/
The Alberta government should encoutage private companies to develop this technology in Alberta to help Albertians afford this technology.
Yet again heard you quote Guy Cormier. This time to Angus. I have no idea why Guy continually tires to be witty/funny and why you continually quote him. Perhaps Guy could get his own show so I could turn it off.
I have listened to and appreciated the “Chances Are” segments ever so much!
So thoughtful & uplifting – keep them coming! They are a great bit of fresh air and encouragement.
Love your show – so comfortable – familiar voice, friendly, gentle and kind.
We are a Mountain Time Zone province, not the proposed Central time. Leave things as they are and stop whining about not getting enough sleep!
Did you ever educate yourself on the climate debate by reading Dr. Tim Ball’s books (Human Caused Global Warming: The Biggest Deception in History or The Deliberate Corruption of Climate Science)?
HCGWTBDH is available at Chapters ($15) and TDCCoCS is available at the Edmonton Public Library. Both are a collection of scientific facts generated by independent scientists. HCGWTBDH is 116 pages written for the average person and can be read in one night. Well worth the time.
