As far as home invasions go, this one could have been a lot worse.
A masked intruder was targeting a home in northeast Edmonton Friday morning, but when they got in, their target wasn’t there.
They apologized to the baffled resident that was there, and took their cell phone so they couldn’t call police, saying they would leave it down the street.
After the home invader left, the resident retrieved their cell phone and called the cops. No one was hurt, police haven’t been able to track down the suspect.
