An Amber Alert issued for two missing boys in La Ronge, Saskatchewan has been lifted.
RCMP say the suspect vehicle was found at a residence in St Louis, south of Prince Albert and the boys were found inside.
Mounties say there is “no indication” the boys were physically injured but they will be checked out by professionals before they’re returned to their families.
A suspect was taken into custody.
The alert was issued early Thursday morning when Mounties believed eight-year old Conner Arthur Ratt and 10-year old River Roberts were taken by 18-year old Jarrod John Charles.
Charles was believed to be driving a grey 2001 Dodge Grand Caravan with Saskatchewan license plate 072KDL and was believed to be headed for Prince Albert.
Conner is described as being aboriginal, having black, shoulder length hair, is just under 4″10 and weighs 48 lbs, he was last seen wearing a black coat with white square pockets, blue jeans, a long sleeve grey shirt and shoes with velcro straps.
River, who is also aboriginal, has black hair with a brush cut, 5″2, weighs between 59-70 lbs, was last seen wearing a green t-shirt, a white and green winter coat and blue jeans and grey high-top skate shop shoes.
Charles, is aboriginal as well, is described as 6″0, 190 lbs, with black shoulder-length hair and glasses and is believed to be wearing a black hooded sweatshirt.
