Police found a lot of weapons at that southeast Edmonton home where they found a home-made bomb Tuesday.
Police said the explosives were industrial grade, but don’t think this had anything to do with terrorism. They found a home-made bomb that had to be destroyed.
This all started as a drug investigation. Staff Sergeant Don Curle says police used a targeted traffic stop to intercept the accused. “It’s significant and all of these firearms are lethal. We are very happy to seize them.”
They found 12 firearms, a large amount of ammunition, prohibited silencers and body armour. EPS also seized two stolen skid steers and a stolen flat deck trailer.
A raid also took place at a home near 39 avenue and 76 street, where drugs and cash were found.
