Alberta Health Services have added two more lakes to a blue-green algae advisory.
AHS says Jackfish Lake and Lake Isle are the latest lakes to have been identified with blue-green algae.
As a precaution you should avoid all contact including drinking, swimming and wading in the affected lakes.
If you come into contact with blue-green algae (cyanobacteria) blooms, wash with tap water immediately.
Do not feed whole fish or fish trimmings to your pets, as it is known that fish may store toxins in their liver. (dac)
