Claresholm RCMP have laid more charges, after two people from British Columbia allegedly posed as Fort McMurray evacuees to receive financial assistance.
39-year-old Jaime Lynn Cox has been charged with five counts of fraud under $5,000.
She’s been released from custody, but will make a court appearance next Wednesday.
On Wednesday, Darryl Rondeau pleaded guilty to his charge of fraud under $5,000.
He’s been sentenced to 30 days in jail. (km/cp)
