Sunday was a busy one for Edmonton firefighters with a number of brush fires.
The worst of which was in the Wolf Willow neighbourhood, just south of Whitemud Drive near 170th Street.
A fire at a park in the community spread to the rooftops of three nearby homes, with no word yet on the damage estimate.
Police are said be trying to figure out if the fire was deliberately set.
Other brush fires for crews to deal with included one at the nearby Edmonton Golf and Country Club, along with the Buena Vista dog park, the Lessard area near 53rd Avenue and 176th Street, and east of 34th Street near 56th Avenue.
A province wide fire ban remains in place, meaning no open burning, backyard fire pits or barbecue use with solid fuels. (td)
