Edmonton’s best chefs will be competing for the title of best pasta dish in the city, all while raising money for a good cause.
The fifth annual Culinary Arts Cook Off begins Saturday April 23rd at the Mount Royal Elementary School (11303 55 st) at 11 a.m.
Chefs from some of Edmonton’s best restaurants will be competing for a very big honour. The chef which is credited with the most creative pasta dish will also earn a spot at this year’s Canadian Food Championships taking place in Edmonton.
The chefs competing will be representing restaurants such as Zinc, El Cortez, Craft Beer Market, Pazzo Pazza, Sage, Northern Chicken, Highlands golf course, Red Piano and Prairie Noodle Shop.
Admission is free, while 4 ounze sample bowls are $2 each. There will also be a silent and live auction.
Proceeds from the event will go toward the school’s art program. de
