Toronto police have issued a public safety alert after two women said they were sexually assaulted in Scarborough last month.
Police said both incidents happened in the area of Warden Avenue and McNicoll Avenue.

The second happened in a similar fashion on Feb. 25 at 8:30 p.m. after a 25-year-old woman got off a transit bus and was sexually assaulted. In both cases, the suspect fled on foot.
Police describe him as black with a darker skin tone, between 5′ to 5’6″ tall, with a thin-to-medium build and possibly in his early 20s.
He may have been wearing a dark bomber jacket, or an orange hooded jacket with black lines down the sleeves and black jeans.
He was carrying an orange backpack with tie-downs on the front in one report and a dark knapsack or dufflebag in the other report.
