It was a tragic day on the roads in central Alberta.
A 24 year old man from Lacombe is out on bail but is facing a list of charges. Matthew Engelman is charged with impaired driving causing death, dangerous driving causing death and refusing to provide a breath sample.
Engelman's truck allegedly crossed the centre line in to the path of an oncoming vehicle that was being driven by Randy Pinch. Pinch succumbed to his injuries in hospital.
Meanwhile RCMP farther south near Three Hills dealt with a collision between a car and a pickup truck after the car allegedly failed to yield to the truck. That collision took the life of an 88 year old man. (tk)
