Edmonton police are out with a warning about an increasing trend in the city.
The EPS says rim and tire thefts have spiked in Edmonton, with a string of seven thefts in southeast Edmonton between September 19th and 23rd.

There have also been a number of other, unrelated rim and tire thefts in North and West Edmonton.
Police are recommending you use locking lug nuts to secure your rims and tires if they are after market, and valuable. (lk)
