Former Premier Peter Lougheed's body is now lying in state at the Alberta Legislature building.
His casket was placed in the rotunda Sunday evening in preparation for public viewings Monday and Tuesday. The public can begin passing through the legislature at 10:30 am until 8 pm Monday and then again from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday.
Books of condolonces have also been placed in major towns and cities around the province as well as online.
A private funeral will be held by the family. A public memorial is being planned.
