A memorial service is being held in Edmonton Monday for fallen peace officer Rod Lazenby.
Lazenby was called out to a complaint at a ranch near Priddis. He was dropped off at a Calgary police station later that day, then died in hospital.
Ranch owner Trevor Kloschinsky has been charged with first degree murder in connection to the incident. He's expected in a Calgary courtroom today.
The memorial is being held at 11:00am at Park Memorial Chapel on 111 avenue at 97 street. (ks)
