Bank robbery in Red Deer

A man could face a very high interest rate after a bank robbery in Central Alberta.

On Monday, an armed man allegedly robbed the Servus Credit Union on 50th Avenue in Red Deer around 6:30 pm and left with an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspect is described as 5'6", and medium build. He was wearing a beige raincoat and a cloth over his face.

No one was injured in the theft.

RCMP is now asking for the public's help in locating the man.  If you have any information please contact RCMP or Crime Stoppers.(dm)
