Deputy Premier Thomas Lukaszuk has a new role.

Premier Redford announced Tuesday, that Lukaszuk, will be the new Ministerial Liaison to the Canadian Forces. The announcement came at the Westdef Symposium Tuesday afternoon.

Redford says, “I know Thomas is proud to carry on the tradition of promoting the provinces exceptional and rich military history.”

In his role as Ministerial Liaison his duties will include developing, supporting, promoting and sustaining the Government of Alberta's relationship with the Canadian Forces. (bu)
