Freedom is not free but comes at a huge cost. Each year on November 11th, Canadians reflect and honour their military heroes, past and present. Michelle talks to veterans who share their stories of hardship and triumph. Our hearts break each time a fallen soldier makes the sombre journey along the “Highway of Heroes” from CFB Trenton to the coroner’s office in Toronto, then on to his or her final resting place.
