For the fourth time, 630 CHED’s INSIDE STORY with Michelle Boden has been awarded the highest honour in Canadian Radio!

“INSIDE DRUG COURT” was honoured to receive the “Gold Ribbon Award” from The Canadian Association of Broadcasters. This was for the category “The Best Information Program in Canada.”

“INSIDE DRUG COURT” was judged against entries from all major markets across Canada. This latest award is proudly being added to the other shows similarly honoured; “REMEMBERING THE FALLEN FOUR” in 2007; “SUICIDE: LIFTING THE SILENCE” in 2006 and “CRYSTAL DEATH: ON YOUR STREET, IN YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD” in 2004. These documentaries have also received recognition and numerous regional and national awards from the Canadian Radio and Television News Directors Association. The RTNDA awards were for “In-depth Investigative Journalism.”

In May, 2004 THE INSIDE STORY was proud to be awarded “The Alberta Solicitor General Award for Excellence in Broadcasting.” This was in recognition for its series on methamphetamine (crystal meth) abuse.

Congratulations to Michelle Boden and the award winning team of THE INSIDE STORY! The Northern Alberta Brain Injury Society presented Michelle with the GINNY award for her outstanding program on concussions. Brain injury and disease is an often misunderstood and misdiagnosed life- shattering event. THE INSIDE STORY brought public awareness to this touching issue.
