He has traveled on assignment to Afghanistan, Iran, China, Nicaragua, Vietnam, Bosnia and Rwanda. He has gone to the frontlines of world conflicts to bring the story home to his listeners. He’s taken the show to major news events in Canada; the Winnipeg flood, Montreal Unity Rally, and National political conventions, so that Canadians can be a part of what’s going on in their country. The RUTHERFORD SHOW has been networked in various markets across Canada for over 14 years. It was the first Canadian radio talk show program to simulcast on television. Dave contributes commentaries to Sun Media , CBC , BBC “Around the World” and other various print and broadcast medias.
