The Chicago Blackhawks extended their streak to 19 games, with a win over the Edmonton Oilers, 3-2 in overtime.
Jeff Petry opened the game with a short handed goal in the first period, which Chicago's Patrick Kane quickly matched on the same power play.
Nail Yakupov got the Oilers back into the lead with a second period power play goal of his own. Then Viktor Stalberg evened the game at 2-2 just minutes into the third, and Marian Hossa put it away in overtime.
The Oilers struggled to create offense in a game that saw them outshot 34 to just 19.
The Edmonton Oilers have a few days to recoup. They visit the Dallas Stars on Thursday, February 28. (scb)
