Edmonton Oilers winger Taylor Hall has been suspended for two games by the National Hockey League for his low hit last night against Minnesota Wild winger Cal Clutterbuck.
Hall received a kneeing major and a game misconduct at the 17:27 mark of the third period.
The NHL determined that Hall's knee hit Clutterbuck's thigh and that the hit occured away from the puck.
This will be the first supsension for Hall who will miss games tomorrow against the Phoenix Coyotes and Monday in Chicago against the Blackhawks.
