The Oilers have called up Mark Arcobello from the Oklahoma City Barons. He has 39 points in 43 games this season in the AHL.
Arcobello, 24, was signed to a two-year entry level contract by the Oilers in April of 2011. He played college hockey at Yale and then joined the Oilers ECHL affiliate in Stockton.
The Oilers need help at centre with both Eric Belanger and Shawn Horcoff out with injuries.
In another move, the Oilers send Theo Peckham to Oklahoma City on a conditioning stint. Peckham has not played a game this season. He's been bothered by a hip flexor. (jrw)
