1:25pm

7/9/2012

The Oilers are keeping the coaching staff intact on their farm team.

Head coach Todd Nelson has been re-signed to lead the Oklahoma City Barons of the American Hockey League.  His assistants, Gerry Fleming and Rocky Thompson, will also return.  They all get three-year contracts.

Last season, the Barons finished first in the Western Conference with 99 points.  They made it to the third round of the playoffs where they were eliminated by the Toronto Marlies.  (jrw)
