The Edmonton Oilers will play eight pre-season games this fall to tune up for the 2012-13 NHL season.
They open up at home on Monday, September 24, against the Winnipeg Jets. The Oilers then visit Winnipeg the next day.
On Thursday, September 27, the Oilers play split squad games against the New York Islanders. One game will be at Rexall Place with the other in Regina.
The rest of the Oilers pre-season schedule is:
Saturday, Sep. 29: vs Vancouver
Sunday, Sep. 30: at Calgary
Tuesday, Oct. 2: vs Calgary
Friday, Oct. 5: at Vancouver
