A police officer's "spidey senses" led to a significant meth bust in southwest Edmonton.
The officer was on patrol when a suspicious vehicle caught his attention near Gateway Boulevard and 51st Avenue late yesterday afternoon (Thursday). The truck was pulled over and the occupants...a man and a woman...turned out to have a history with police.
A search of the vehicle uncovered more than half a pound of crystal meth. Considering the stuff is sold in very tiny doses...the seizure is considered significant by police. The man and woman were arrested and face an assortment of drug related charges. The investigation continues.
