Political intrigue at the Alberta Legislature.
The Corus Radio Newsroom has learned an MLA is considering 'crossing the floor.'
The Liberals may see their ranks reduced by one as Bridget Pastoor mulls over a change. She doesn't confirm the possible move, but doesn't deny it either ...
"I'm certainly open to anything that's coming along. I believe the province on the opposition side not just necesarily in the house but certainly people out there are looking for something, and I think that they're in flux and I'll keep my options open to look and see what's going on."
Pastoor, a self-professed political junkie, was attracted to the Lougheed Conservative style of social policies and says sixty percent of Albertans didn't vote, so they're looking for democratic change.
And her mindset is no reflection of new leader David Swann ...
"It has nothing to do with Dr. Swann. I have the utmost respect for his integrity and who he is as a person." (sj, ccg)
