An exciting night Saturday for Oil Kings fans as the team took on the Kelowna Rockets.
The Kings posted three unanswered goals in the third period to come from behind for the win. The team fell behind early in the game when Kelowna snagged the first goal.
Henrik Samuelsson tied it up on the powerplay though and Edmonton would go 2 for 6 in the powerplay on the night.
Michael St. Croix became the first Oil Kings player in the modern era to post 100 career WHL goals during the game against the Rockets.
The Oil Kings record moves to 8-3-1-2 as they battle for top spot in the central division with Calgary.
