The Edmonton Oil Kings nearly doubled the Kamloops Blazers in shots, but fell 5-4 to them in a shoot-out on Wednesday in the WHL.
Edmonton out-shot Kamloops 38-21, with T.J. Foster, Dylan Wruck, Mitchell Moroz and Henrik Samuelsson finding the back of the net for the Oil Kings.
Laurent Brossoit stopped 16 shots in the loss.
Edmonton hasn't beaten the Blazers in regulation since December 2, 2009.
The Oil Kings, with their record moving to 5-3-1-2 on the season, are in action next when they host the Moose Jaw Warriors on Friday. (gb)
