The Edmonton Eskimos have released import running back Cory Boyd.
Boyd was signed as free-agent in early August. He played four games with the Eskimos and rushed 18 times for 76 yards and caught four catches for 40 yards.
The Eskimos also released import defensive back Ronnie Prude. He played 5 games frecording 12 defensive tackles, and one special teams tackle.
Prude came back from a serious neck injury suffered in a game vs. the Saskatchewan Roughriders back on August 10th.
