The Eskimos have placed two non-import running backs on the nine-game injured list.
Mathieu Bertrand suffered a groin injury late in Friday's game against the B.C. Lions. He's currently the longest serving Eskimo, having been with the team since 2004.
Pascal Fils hurt his knee in practice last week. He played mainly on special teams.
The Eskimos have also released import punt returner Yamon Figurs. In two games this season, he had ten returns for 56 yards. (jrw)
