Eskimos defensive back Joe Burnett is the CFL's defensive player of the week for week four. Burnett had two interceptions in the 27-14 win over the B.C. Lions on Friday. He returned one of them 108-yards for a touchdown.
Burnett leads the CFL with three interceptions. This is his first year as a starter for the Eskimos. He was on the practice roster last year.
Hamilton quarterback Henry Burris gets the nod on offence after going 27/30 for 360 yards in a win over Montreal.
Tiger-Cats receiver Andy Fantuz is the top Canadian, while Winnipeg kicker Justin Palardy is the special teams player of the week. (jrw)
