The Edmonton Oilers have made their last pick for a total of seven players in the 2012 NHL entry draft.
Friday, the Oilers took Nail Yakupov with the first overall pick. The Sarnia Sting right-winger had 69 points in 42 games this past season.
In the second round Saturday morning, the Oilers added some offensive punch by selecting Oil Kings winger Mitchell Moroz at number 32.
The Oilers also selected forward Jujhar Khaira at number 63, forward Daniil Zharkov at number 91, defenceman Erik Gustafsson at number 93, defenceman Joey Laleggia at number 123, and right-winger John McCarron at number 153. (ks, kdr)
