After a visit from Sarna Sting winger Nail Yakupov and Quebec Remparts centre Mikhail Grigorenko earlier in the week, it was Ryan Murray's turn to tour Edmonton today.

The Everett Silvertips defenseman is ranked second among draft eligible skaters by Central Scouting.

The Oilers have the first overall selection in the NHL Entry Draft which is June 22 in Pittsburgh.  Murray says he would love to play for the Oilers.

"I think that would be pretty incredible.  I know a few guys on the team", Murray said.  "Just talking with them, they say it's a great spot, a great city.  From what I've seen here so far, it would be a pretty great place to play."

Murray's agent is Rick Vallette, the same agent who represents Ryan Nugent-Hopkins.  Both played together at the recent World Hockey Championships last month.  Murray became the second youngest player ever to suit for Canada at the World's.

Murray scored 9 goals, 22 assists for 31 points in 46 games for the Everett Silvertips of the Western Hockey League.  He also represented Canada at the World Junior Hockey Championships winning a bronze medal.
