On Monday, the Oilers rolled out the welcome mat for Sarnia Sting winger Nail Yakupov who's the number rated draft eligible skater among North American players.

Today, Quebec Remparts centre Mikhail Grigorenko visited Edmonton and Rexall Place.  Grigerenko is ranked third by Central Scouting.  He was the Remparts second leading scorer with 40 goals, 45 assists for 85 points.  He added three goals and seven assist in 11 playoff games while battling mononucleosis.

The Oilers have the first overall selection in the June 22nd NHL Entry Draft for the third straight year.  Grigorenko says if he becomes an Oiler, he knows he's going to a very good hockey club.

"I know it's a really young team and have a lot young really talented players", Grigorenko said.  "It's a team with a great history, they've won five Stanley Cups."

Grigorenko is one of five players in the mix for the first overall spot.  The other are Yakupov, Edmonton Oil Kings defenseman Griffin Reinhart, Swedish forward Filip Forsberg, and Everett Silvertips defenseman Ryan Murray.

Murray will visit Edmonton tomorrow.
