The Edmonton Eskimos have added four players as they move closer to training camp.
Import wide receiver Montez Billings, 25, played his college ball at Auburn. Billings was signed in 2009 as an undrafted free agent by the New Orleans Saints. After being released, he spent time on the Buffalo Bills practice roster.
Import defensive back Michael Ricks, 25, attended the Baltimore Ravens 2011 training camp after a strong career at Stillman College in Alabama.
The Eskimos also signed two non-imports. Linebacker Peter Thiel, 23, is a product of the University of Saskatchewan and attended Roughriders rookie camp last season. Fullback Reed Anderson, 24, was given a look by the Montreal Alouettes last year after playing college ball at St. Mary's and Acadia.
The Eskimos will hold their rookie camp from May 30 - June 1. Veterans report on June 2. (jrw)
