Edmonton Rush defender Kyle Rubisch has been named the National Lacrosse League's Defensive Player of the Week for the second time this season.
Rubisch led Edmonton with nine loose balls in an 11-8 win over the Buffalo Bandits at Rexall Place on Saturday. He also had three forced turnovers and picked up an assist in the victory.
The Rush battle the Colorado Mammoth in Denver on Friday, before returning home to face the Calgary Roughnecks on Saturday. They can clinch a playoff spot with a win in either of those games. (jk)
