The Edmonton Eskimos have signed import quarterback Jeremiah Masoli.
Masoli played his college football first at Oregon before transferring to Ole Miss in 2010. He helped lead the Oregon Ducks to a Pac-10 title and an appearance in the Rose Bowl. Masoli passed for 4,186 yards and 29 touchdowns in his final two seasons at Oregon and Ole Miss combined.
He attended the training camp of the San Fransisco 49ers last season before being released. He played three games for the Omaha Knighthawks of the UFL in 2011.
Masoli joins the Eskimos quarterback stable of Steven Jyles, Kerry Joseph, Matt Nichols, and Eric Ward.
