Hints of change swirled around the Eskimos to start the work week, as they prepared to take the field for Friday night's encounter with the B.C. Lions (7 p.m., 630 CHED).
Despite the 0-4 start, head coach Richie Hall didn't sound like changes were coming amongst the coaching staff or with any of the key player personnel. But, in the wake of Saturday's crushing 47-21 loss in Winnipeg, Hall admits that, at the very least, the team's approach has to be reconsidered.
"The reality is what we've done hasn't worked," said Hall, Sunday. "So, how do you find answers? You look to find answers -- you look to find answers on how we do things, or how we call things.
"There's no magical cure."
Hall says he, himself, has to take a long look in the mirror and figure out how to make the necessary changes to improve the football team.
"Everything to get out of this hole -- that's where it starts from. Your commitment, your desire, your mental toughness, because I think that's one of the things that we're very lacking in with our football team right now."(bp)
