World Vision Canada is reeling after the brutal killings of some of its workers in Pakistan.
The humanitarian aid group says it got word that six of its aid workers were gunned down at its headquarters overseas.
Molly Finlay with World Vision Canada says local staff are being reminded today about the dangers of the work they perform, but they will not be deterred.
"We really feel called to serve the poorest children in our world, and we are going to continue to do that with hope and optimism and we are doing everything in our power to protect our staff."
Findlay says the work in Pakistan has been suspended for now.
