A 94 year old man still has many questions surrounding the suspicious death of his younger brother.
Peppino Bassani's body was found on a rural property west of Edmonton last Friday while police were checking up on an assault complaint.
Now, a 38 year old man is facing second degree murder charges.
Rino Bassani says it doesn't make sense. He tells 630 CHED that his brother was never in any trouble.
"Just an ordinary guy, like most people," Bassani says. "Family of four, two boys and two girls. Him and his wife divorced a few years ago but they still keep in touch with."
Kevin Michalchuck of Peace River will make his first court appearance Wednesday. (aa)
