Steinbach RCMP are investigating an assault Thursday afternoon at a business in the North end of the community.
Police allege a man struck another man in the upper body before leaving the area. The suspect was known to police and had a history of past violence.
The suspect was located and arrested without incident.
There were no serious injuries as a result of this incident.
