Winnipeg Police are investigating a suspicious incident in the 100 block of River avenue early Friday afternoon.
Police say an 11 year old boy was approached by an unknown adult male suspect who tried to convince the victim to leave the area with him..
The suspect immediately left when individuals who were nearby came to the aid of the victim. The victim was not hurt..
Police describe the suspect as a caucasian male, about six feet tall, weighing 250 pounds, with dark hair. He was wearing grey and white clothing, a navy cap and sunglasses and was also carrying a duffle bag..
