Winnipeg bus manufacturer New Flyer Industries is back in the news today with even more orders. The company has now secured a 28-million dollar contract to provide buses for Vancouver's TransLink. There's an initial order of 42 buses from Vancouver's South Coast British Columbia Transportation. The contract provides for up to 87 buses. The buses will be delivered to operators West Vancouver Transit and Richmond Transit near the end of this year, or the beginning of next.
