CJOB News Team reporting
Manitoba Conservation has given Samborski Landscaping three weeks to wind down its composting operation just off McGillivary Boulevard. Late last year, the province issued an order for the garden supply and commercial composting company to remove all compost material from its site, due to environment impacts on local residents and businesses. There have been over 200 complaints. A facilitator was appointed by the province to help, but was unsuccessful. If today's order is not adhered to by August 8th, officials from the province will step in, and remove the compost. The province has been working with the company for four years in an effort to find a more suitable location.
