A firefighter was injured Monday morning following a fire at 240 Stradbrook avenue..
Fire units responded to the apartment building just before 7:30. The fire was confined to a 12th floor suite and caused an estimated 100 thousand dollars in damages..
The fire also caused a major traffic disruption during the morning rush hour..
The cause is under investigation..
