Three teens are in custody and four victims are recovering after a busy overnight for police.
Constable Jason Michalyshen tells CJOB the first arrest of a 17 year-old comes after a pair of stabbings in the 1200 block of Liberty street.
"We learned that a house party had taken place in the area which resulted in a confrontation involving several males. Two male victims were located who were identified as being 15 and 18 years of age," says Michalyshen.
With the help of the canine unit, officers arrested a 17 year-old boy who is now charged with aggravated assault and assault with a weapon.
Both victims are now in stable condition.
Meanwhile, two teenage boys are also in custody after a couple of violent incidents in the city's downtown early Saturday morning.
Police say pair were responsible for a couple of unprovoked attacked.
The first happened in the area of Logan Avenue and Isabel Street when a 23 year-old man was beaten.
Then, a short while later, the thugs allegedly attacked a 41 year-old man in the area of Higgins Avenue and Lizzie Street.
Both victims are now in stable condition.
The 14 and 16 year-old remain in custody.
