Good news for pork producers in Manitoba, as the World Trade Organization's Appellate Body has upheld a ruling on Country Of Origin Labelling.
The earlier WTO ruling this past November said the labelling discriminates against Canadian livestock in the U.S. market.
Since 2008, hog farmers in Canada have lost a lot of money on exports to the U.S.
It's hoped the U.S. will abide by the WTO ruling.
