Severe thunderstorm warning for:
_new_ pelican rapids and shoal river first nations
_new_ r.m. of minitonas including minitonas and renwer
_new_ r.m. of mountain including cowan and camperville
r.m. of mountain including mafeking and birch river.
at 8:20 pm cdt, environment canada meteorologists were tracking an area of severe thunderstorms near cowan and east of birch river. these severe thunderstorms are moving to the northeast at 50 km/h.

Large hail, heavy rain and strong winds are possible with these severe thunderstorms.
Cragg expects the most severe weather overnight to stay North of Winnipeg.
