RCMP in Portage la Prairie are leaving no stone unturned in continued efforts to stamp out.. drug trafficking. There were three more arrests last week after a search warrant was executed on a home on 2nd street Northwest Friday night. 29-year old John Aymont, 25-year old Jolene Grossman, and 28-year old Blaine Knott all face charges. A day later.. police executed another warrant on Oak Bay, also in Portage la Prairie. 31-year old Lori Ann Isfeld was charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine.
Portage la Prairie isn't the only Manitoba community being targetted by police in an effort to get street level drug traffickers off the streets. RCMP in Thompson made two arrests on the weekend. 25-year old Patrick Jackson, and 24-year old Ryan MaCumber have been charged with trafficking cocaine.
