A 15-year old boy is probably thanking his lucky stars after being rescued from the Red River Sunday by a police officer. Winnipeg Police were called to the river near the Louise Bridge around 1:30 in the afternoon. Officers spotted the boy in the river on the north side of the bridge. One of them swam out ...to help get the boy out of the water. The boy was safety taken to shore.
