Your Hydro rates could be going up. Manitoba Hydro has applied to the Public Utlities Board for a 2.5 percent hike in electricity rates to take effect September 1'st. If approved rates could increase for the average customer by a dollar and 80 cents a month. Hydro also wants to increase rates by a further 3.5 per cent effective next April.
